Park Naturalist

LINCOLN WOODS STATE PARK | Lincoln, RI | May 2018 — August 2018
  • Curated the Naturalist Building, 
  • Designeddisplays ranging topics from wilderness safety to ecology and geology.
  • Designed booklets relating to the natural history of the park.  
  • Created live displays of tadpoles, fish, crayfish, and toads.
  • Guided patrons on Nature Walks, ranging from bird, plant, fish identification, and principles of ecology.
  • Assisted patrons and the park employees with injured wildlife by working with the local wildlife rehabilitation center.

Project Researcher

  • Conducted background research on Spiritual Ecology and common trends.
  • Conducted comprehensive analysis of Spiritual Ecology, its upsides and downsides.
  • Presented multiple media project proposals to showcase Spiritual Ecology to millenial audience.

  • Participated in committees to help develop solutions to campus issues.
  • Met with Environmental Faculty to discuss budgetary, promotional, and curricular needs of the discipline.
  • Created promotional graphics using Adobe Suite to promote events and faculty showcases for print and online media.
  • Developed, orchestrated, and produced first Environmental Studies Senior Showcase for Bennington College.
